Through crowdlending, it is now possible for a wide range of investors to invest in Swiss loans. Individuals or even specialized institutional investors have been able to do this on Cashare's crowdlending platform for almost 15 years.
For professional asset managers, however, the traditional direct investment is impractical.
That's why we launched the 4% Cashare bond three years ago. Asset managers thus saved themselves the trouble of selecting individual loans and also did not have to worry about building up exposure. Clients could simply place a Valor (the word Valor means "security" in German), which invests in a broad basket of loans to private individuals, SMEs and for real estate financing, in their client custody account.
The invested asset managers appreciated not only the interesting coupon, but above all the diversification that the Swiss loans brought to their portfolios.
After 3 years of maturity, in addition to the annual coupon payment, the invested capital was also repaid in full and on time.
